The 2016 Australian International Three Day Event (Aus3de), to be held from 3rd – 6th November will see riders competing for more than $150,000 in prize money up in the heart of the city of Adelaide

For the first time a new class, the RM Williams CIC3* will be added to the schedule joining the FEI Classic Adelaide 4* and Horseland CCI2*, for the first time as well as a Twilight Equestrian Gala on Friday 4th November.

Aus3DE Event Director Gillian Rolton said the 2016 Aus3de promises to be a fabulous showcase of equestrian sport at its best.

“The Australian International Three Day Event is a highly anticipated event on the equestrian calendar and 2016 is no exception,” she said. “Following the excitement from the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, don’t miss the return of this premier event in the middle of the city.”

“We are also thrilled to announce the new RM Williams CIC3*, which will be a popular addition to the 2016 program. A short course event, it will, provide a popular option for riders that are on their way to qualify for Adelaide CCI4* in 2017. We anticipate a good number of entries for this class and already have a bunch of Kiwis planning to jump the ‘ditch to compete this year!”

“There’s masterclasses and course walks by German Gold medal  Eventing Team coach Christopher Bartle, to look forward to, plus food and wine bars, great shopping and the Thomas Foods International World Cup Show jumping spectacular”

“We will also see the return of FEI Olympic Course Designer, Mike Etherington-Smith, who brings with him a wealth of knowledge and professionalism to the eventing cross country phase,” she said.
