Sadly, there were no international visitors to Equestrian In The Park in Western Australia this year – in past years, visiting riders such as William Fox-Pitt, Sam Griffiths and Harry Meade have embellished the entry lists - the but the show still went on with plenty of fun in the sun for local riders
The event this year was held at a new location at Burswood Park, on the banks of the Swan River in the centre of Perth. Whilst much of the rest of Australia was sweltering in 40 degree heat, Perth luckily dodged the high temperatures and the day's entertainment was held in balmy summer conditions
Will Baxter and KDale Mr Collins were the Grand Prix Champions, beating Michael Dagostino on Kinnordy Gatow and Kenya Wilson on Sandros Salute, to drive away in a new Ford Escape from McInerney Ford
Olivia Shore made it three wins in a row in the Diamond Class riding Eliva Castana. Ellie Gough riding Don J’Amee and Masison Gielen riding GPH Colorado took second and third places
