Christine Bates does it again

Christine Bates and Adelaide Hill - 3* winners again

Christine Bates has done it again, taking her fourth 3* win in a row in Australia on board Adelaide Hill. This time it was the Bates Saddles CCI3* at the Sydney International Horse Trials, an important selection event for the FEI World Equestrian Games in Tryon later this year

Christine and the chestnut Adelaide Hill were in second place after the dressage, third after the cross country and finished on top with a clear show jumping round on a score of 35.2. It was a very close finish with Rob Palm on Koko Story taking second place on 35.5, the only pair in the class to complete on their dressage score and Emma Bishop on CP Issey Miyake in third (42.90)

It was a good day at the office for Tim Boland, who took both the CCI2* and CCI1* on board Napoleon and Menlo Park, a horse previously campaigned in the UK by Oliver Townend for Tim
