Thanks and fingers crossed

It has been an amazing experience over the years and very humbling that so many people have helped me through thick and thin. So many people from the small towns and surrounding districts I have come from including Harden and now Dalton, and the nearby towns of Yass, Binalong and Jugiong. I walk down the street and am stopped and questioned on how I am going and ‘do I know if I am going yet?’. Everyone is really excited for me and I have a lot of people riding with me, crossing everything, fingers toes and all in hope that I get a start at the games. I would dearly love to repay everyone for the ongoing support by making it.

I also couldn't have done it without this support and the owners of horses like Billy Bathgate with Phil and Mary Hockney and Algebra's owners Julia McLean and John Glenn. Reg Kelly, who is sadly not longer with us, but helped me out so much with all of my palomino's and Ben Smith another great owner with the up and coming horse Girl with a Curl. Of course I have to mention my family who have always been there for me.

I have had some good horses of my own over the years but found myself selling them to pay the bills, so I feel that these owners have given me the opportunity to produce these horses without worry so much about financial constraints.

I would like to share this blog from Algebra's owner, John Glenn, who will give you his insight on how and why he decided to help me out – thanks John.
