Australia in the hunt at Fontainebleau Nations Cup

Michael Jung of Germany riding Leopin FST leads after day one of dressage at the first FEI Nations Cup at Fontainebleau in France. He leads on a score of  37.4 and is also in second place on Weidezaunprofi’s River of Joy on a very close score of 38. Andreas Ostholt and Franco Jeas of Germany is in third place but then come the Aussies!

 

Lucinda is in 4th spot with 44.6 riding the 10 year-old Flying Finish and Clayton is in 5th place on Dunge’s Laurent Rosé with 46.4. Wendy Schaeffer and Koyuna Sun Dancer will be riding today (Friday) for the team at 11:57am French time and Clayton will be riding Bendigo as an individual.

 

In the CIC 1*, Clayton is leading on Mr Sydney Rocks with a score of 37.8 and Lucinda is in 4th place with 44.1 on Shelter Cove

 

Of the top three German combinations in the CICO 3*, Leopin FST and Franco Jeas are being ridden as a part of the team competition but Weidezaunprofi’s River of Joy is competing as an individual. There are some combinations to come tomorrow but congratulations to Lucinda and Clayton on a strong start and good luck Wendy!
