A tale of two chestnuts

Barindale Grandeur and his rider Annelise Buttress were third after the dressage at Pakenham Horse Trials in the Pony Club Grade 3 yesterday.

The 14.2hh chestnut pony Barindale Grandeur by Penmain Posh glistened in the sun and his white socks were immaculate but it was the combination of Annelise’s amazing hair, matching her pony’s colour, which really caught our eye.

The now five year old Barindale Grandeur and Annelise were second in the Grade 4 here last year and, not surprisingly, Annelise loves the little pony that matches her so well. However, at nearly six foot tall, Annelise has to move up to a slightly larger horse in the near future. Anyone looking for a great little pony should look no further but you need to have hair like this to apply!

P.S. For anyone wondering, the beautiful plaiting of her pony was done by Annelise and when she rides, she too wears one lovely long plait
