A little luxury at Christmas - Gingle Bells

Forget practical, we love a little luxury at Christmas so we’ve picked some ‘special’ items that certainly would not go amiss in our Christmas stocking, starting with a little tipple that you can not only drink but also put on your Christmas tree!

At events around the UK we are seduced by gin tastings and Gin Dens but a Sydney company has come up with an idea that we think eventing riders (and several of our friends in the equestrian press) will love

Gingle Bells are six different gin-filled baubles nestled inside a premium magnetic-close gift box. The premium Australian Dry Gin from master distiller Reg Papps, named as one of the top 5 gin distillers in the world at the World Gin Awards London, in each of the baubles are infused with a different botanical (unusual seeds, flowers or fruit) to create an extra layer of natural flavour and colour. The botanicals remain a physical inclusion in each bauble - like a decoration in a little snow dome that you can use as part of a cocktail garnish or discard.

The metal screw cap lid of each bauble is threaded with a silver ribbon to hang the Gingle Bells up as a fun decoration at Christmas and other celebrations. Tie them in the Christmas tree, decorate the mantlepiece or table or tie around your wrist at a party (sadly, they are probably too delicate to replace a hip flask whilst out hunting but could be a great alternative to serve as a stirrup cup before setting off!)

And of course, as the guys at Gingle Bells say - Please Drink and Decorate Responsibly
