Nominations open for Queensland International 3 Day Event 2015

Nominations are now open for 2015 Pryde's EasiFeed Queensland International Three Day Event incorporating the Queensland State Eventing championships

This year the event will be held at the new venue at the Noosa Equestrian Centre, Tandur from 3rd to 5th October and is offering more than $10,000 prize money in three international and five national classes thanks to sponsors such as Gympie Saddleworld, sponsors of the CCI3* class and the NQ Group, sponsors of the CCI 1* class

In addition to hosting one of Australia’s top eventing competitions there are plenty of options for lower level competitors including an EvQ60 pre introductory class; this year each class winner will also take the title of State Champion as the QI3DE is being held in conjunction with the Queensland Eventing State Championships.

“We are very excited about bringing this first class competition to the Sunshine Coast region and look forward to a great weekend of equestrian competition along with an extensive entertainment program,” says the Event Director, Dr Cameron Osborne

“The 2015 QI3DE promises great entertainment for spectators as well as providing Queensland and interstate riders with the opportunity to excel and gain national and international recognition.”

The event will again feature the State of Origin challenge between Queensland and New South Wales teams, a dressage master class and a Grand Prix show jumping competition. Irish bred horses will also have the opportunity to shine with the Irish Draught and Sport Horse Society (Aust) Inc., offering a rug and a $100 cash prize for the best performed Irish horse at the event.

Nominations are limited to 40 per class so get in quick to avoid disappointment.
