This is the weather we want for Belton International again this year!
Sadly we couldn’t film at the cancelled South of England (1) Horse Trials this weekend but we’ve got a blinder of a Belton coming up
South of England (1), one of the most popular events on the calendar run by the Nolan family and always attended by their famous daughter Pippa Funnell, was to be our feature event this week with the video crew heading to the South of England Showgrounds to film but it was not to be.
Tim Nolan told us that they were ‘gutted’ to have to cancel but ‘unfortunately the ground conditions have deteriorated due to the heavy showers over the last five days and it is deemed unsafe to run on the cross country courses’
It was a shame for everyone but we’re looking forward to filming at the Eridge Horse Trials and Country Market in July, also run by the Nolan family (view our 2016 XC Video calendar of events here)
However, next weekend we head to Belton International Horse Trials in Lincolnshire and the weather forecast is looking good! One of the big events in the lead up to Badminton, Belton features the CIC3* Lycett’s Grantham Cup and the entry list reads like a Who’s Who of eventing
As well as An Eventful Life filming every rider on cross country during the event from 15th – 17th April you will also be able to watch live streaming of the CIC3* class on Sunday, either on the big screen if you are attending the event or online via www.belton-horse.co.uk
