An Eventful Life is filming all competitors on cross country

at the Equi-Trek Bramham International Horse Trials – find out more here

We’re delighted to be filming for the first time this year at Yorkshire’s largest equestrian event, the Equi-Trek Bramham International Horse Trials.

We will be filming all competitors on cross country including the feature sections of the event - the Equi-Trek CCI4*-L where the world’s top riders and horses will be hoping to secure their share of the £18,500 prize pot and the British Horse Feeds CCI4*U25-L, a discovery ground for future Olympians.

The Land Rover CCI4*-S again will provide world class competition for seasoned campaigners and horses on their way up to the top and former Olympian Ian Stark is in charge of the cross country course whilst chain saw master David Evans is the genius behind building the fences.

With a countdown to the Tokyo Olympic Games next year, Bramham will be a perfect proving ground for selection. New Zealand, Australia, Italy, Sweden, the USA and our Olympic hosts Japan will all be represented this year along with top British names like Yorkshire’s own Nicola Wilson, Gemma Tattersall, Zara Tindall and 2019 Badminton winner Piggy French all on the entry list.

The CCI4*-S was added to the programme in 2009 when a spring of torrential rain lead to the cancellation of the equivalent class at the prestigious Chatsworth Horse Trials in Derbyshire. This left a number of horses and riders without an all-important run and qualification opportunity so, at short notice, Bramham came to the rescue and the class has been a part of the timetable ever since as a prime fixture on many rider’s wish list.

New for 2019 at the event is the Land Rover Owners’ Lawn. Located centrally in the tradestand area at the heart of the action, the enclosure will be an ideal retreat with complimentary refreshments. Land Rover owners just need to show their key fob to gain access.

Land Rover vehicles will also feature on two of Ian Stark’s cross country fences this year. Details are still tightly under wraps while designer Ian and course builder David Evans work their magic but there’s little doubt that Ian has something special in store …….
