Lucinda Green presents Riddick VEH during the First Horse Inspection for the CCI-L3* Section B

Mum and daughter Lucinda and Lissa Green are both competing at this event with Australian rider Lissa riding three horses; Boline, Corragio Z and Med Night Trafford Mignonette while Lucinda is riding the horse that came from Australia, Riddick VEH, owned by the beautifully named syndicate ‘The Golden Years’

Lissa’s horses are also owned by syndicates that have grouped together to support her and, earlier in the year in Australia, Lucinda told us a little more about how Lissa may ‘wear her heart on her sleeve’ but this has helped ‘helped people come out of the woodwork to support her and her horses'

“It’s such fun to be the mum of somebody who is ‘finding their feet’ in a world which has very difficult for her because of me …… It’s been tough, really tough but it has developed in her a core of steel”

Join us at Houghton over the next few days as we follow the progress of all the riders throughout the event .........
