Austria leads Nations Cup Eventing at Strzegom

 

 

 

 

Austria tops the team standings after dressage at the FEI Eventing Nations Cup during LOTTO Strzegom Horse Trials

The Austrian team of Robert Mandl riding Sacré-Cœur (2nd individually), Dr. Harald Ambros with Lexikon 2 (3rd), Lea Siegl with Van Helsing P and Katrin Khoddam-Hazrati with Oklahoma 2 lead on a score of 93.80 ahead of the Netherlands and the home team Poland in third place. Six teams are taking part

The individual leader, both in the CCIO4*-S and the Polish National Championships, is Mateusz Kiempa riding Libertina. Mateusz is on great form, currently also in fourth with Lassban Radovix.

“The test felt great today, both horses were cooperating with me, they are very good dressage horses, I was expecting the good results a bit, so I’m the happier that it worked out!” he said

After the dressage in the CCI3*-S Belgium’s Lara de Liedekerke-Meier riding Freya des Concessions is in the lead while the Netherland’s Merel Blom leads the CCI2*-L. Sweden’s Louise Romeike tops the CCI2*-S with Extravagance.

The CCI1*-Intro completed with Miloslav Příhoda Jr winning on board Lucky Boy-S and Sweden’s Moa Elofsson won the CCI2* Pony class aboard Waterloo.

Cross-country continues on Saturday, including the Nations Cup and Polish Championships CCIO4*-S and the CCI4*-L, currently led by Tim Price
