Gatcombe International (2) - find out more here

Get ready for the last ever Gatcombe.

This quintessential English event set in the heart of the Cotswolds, held by kind permission of HRH The Princess Royal at her home, Gatcombe Park, will host its final hurrah from 13th – 15th September

The Whatley Manor Hotel & Spa International CIC* & CIC** will run for the 24th and sadly, last time, this year making it a ‘must-attend’ event for both riders and spectators. The cross country course will utilise a different area of the Gatcombe Park Estate to that used by the Magic Millions Festival of British Eventing a few weeks ago and will run the same direction as the Spring Gatcombe (1) event. The water jump will still be towards the end of cross country and will provide nice inviting courses for the more experienced and first timers alike.

The CCI3*-S will run over the Intermediate cross country course with extra fences and the CCI2*-S will run over the Novice course with extra fences; with the fickle English weather at the moment, the good news is that the courses run over well drained land and ride well whatever the weather.

HRH The Princess Royal will, as always, present the prizes and the eventing community should turn out in droves to thank The Princess Royal and her team and to farewell this great event ….
