An Eventful Life is filming all competitors on cross country at

Keysoe (3) - find out more here

The ongoing work put in by Simon Bates and his team at The College Equestrian Centre is paying off with their eventing fixtures as popular as ever

Well known as both a training facility and great competition venue across the disciplines, this week’s entries for Keysoe (3) are chock-a-block across the classes, showing how riders of all levels appreciate the fantastic facilities and central location

Piggy French will be one to beat, with multiple entries, including Burghley-bound Vanir Kamira, Calling Card, Carnival March and Sportsfield Top Notch in the Open Intermediate on Friday, the day that sees three Intermediate classes and four Novice classes taking place with two BE100 sections closing off the day

More Novice classes are running on Saturday, along with BE100 and BE90 classes plus a 5-Year-Old qualifier for Osberton Young Horse Championships. Look out for Sarah Bullimore in this class with two up and coming mares, the well-bred Coraguar (Jaguar Mail x Lily Corinne) and Evita AP. Another mare to watch will be Seapatrick Dancing Diamond ridden BY Ginny Turnbull, who finished third in the 4-Year-Old class at Osberton last year and has had two wins so far this year. Naomi Lawrence’s Jaimy, a 15.3 5yr old KWPN gelding that won at Horseheath two weeks ago and only started eventing in May, is also a hot contender for this class

The 4-Year-Old Class on Sunday is another qualifier for the Osberton Championships and the event finishes with BE90, BE100 and BE80 classes

As always Keysoe will be working hard to give provide ground conditions on the courses, arenas and working in areas and their long-term grass management programme is working very well. The dressage will be held on well prepared flat arenas (four will be on a surface),  the show jumping on a Martin Collins waxed surface using a British Showjumping championship set of fences and the cross country offers a mix of fixed and portable fences across a wide range of complexes including waters, banks, steps and ditches.

Great surfaces and constantly improving the courses at Keysoe are part of the drawcard for this popular eventing venue
