International horses arrive at Maryland CCI 5 Star

The international horses have arrived and the draw is out for the inaugural Maryland CCI5* at Fair Hill in the USA

5 horses have travelled from overseas to represent Britain, New Zealand and France with Oliver Townend’s Cooley Master Class, Harry Meade’s Superstition, Zara Tindall’s Class Affair, Tim Price’s Xavier Faer, Jonelle Price’s Classic Moet and Astier Nicolas’ Babylon De Gamma now settling into the venue.

The British-based horses travelled from Zara Tindall’s base at Aston Farm on the 6th October to Frankfurt where they met up Astier Nicolas’ Babylon De Gamma before flying into New York’s JFK Airport. After 48 hours quarantine they took a short trip to their final destination in Maryland.

48 combinations will contest the new CCI5* class with an additional CCI3*-L also being held during the event at the newly constructed Fair Hill Special Event Zone in Elkton, Maryland from October 14th – 17th
