Boyd Martin at Rolex Kentucky

After a busy year of competing overseas in 2016, Boyd is enjoying some time at home in the USA

“I’ve been with the two horses I’ve got here for a long time so, if we fail I can’t really blame anyone else’s training, it’s been all me. But they’re up to the task, they’ve had a good build up, a good run in with a couple of events and I think if I ride them well they should have a good trip around”

Boyd is currently lying equal 7th on Crackerjack after the first day of dressage at Rolex Kentucky. Sam Clark caught up with him after his ride and found out more on his thoughts on eventing in the USA, Australia and England

“I probably wouldn’t do horses again in Australia but deep down I still have an Australian part of me, I’ve got an Australian passport and the majority of my friends are in Australia” says Boyd Martin but it’s unlikely he would move back Down Under
