Ibble Watson on Bookhamlodge Pennylane at Solihull (2) Horse Trials 2025
Ibble Watson last evented Bookhamlodge Pennylane in 2019 when the pair won team gold and individual silver at the Pony European Eventing Championships and, since then, Bookhamlodge Pennylane has gone on to represent Team GB with both Jessica Pidgley and Alice Fraser.
Ibble’s own career has gone on to great heights but hopped on the pony for a win at Solihuill (2) in the BE100 Open. “I’ve only ridden Bookhamlodge Pennylane a handful of times over the past couple of years, but she needed a run” says Ibble, adding, “She’s the true definition of perfection!”
After our first visit to Solihull Horse Trials in May, we're heading back this weekend (23rd & 24th August) to film all competitors on the wonderful cross country at Solihull Riding Club. We'll also be back with a full wrap up next week so stay tuned!
