Aussies Top 4 at Haras du Pin after Dressage

CIC3*-W Grand Prix FEI Eventing World Cup: 4 Australians in the top 4 first places after dressage! Antipodeans dominated the first test of this last FEI Eventing World Cup leg with 4 Australians at the 4 first places! Leading this « dream team », we find Sam Griffiths (AUS) riding his 10 year old gelding Real Dancer, followed by his team mate Clayton Fredericks (AUS)...only 0,1 point behind on Be My Guest! Clayton also placed 3rd on Dunges Laurent Rose followed by Chris Burton (AUS) on Newsprint. Mark Todd (NZL) closes this famous quintet with NZB Campino. Two French riders follow with less than 2 points more: Eddy Sans and Gilles Pons (6th and 7th). "My horse is really good at dressage test" explained Sam Griffiths, "It's really cool to see so many Australian riders at the top of this World Cup Class. The cross-country seems nice and hard but we expected that here". Sam is also in 19th place on Paulank Brockagh and Chris has his other horse Holstein Park Leilani in 15th place but there is not a lot between the top horses. Paul Tapner is in 7th place on Kilfinnie and Clark Johnstone, the New Zealand rider currently leading the World Cup rankings ahead of Chris is in 11th place. Sam and Real Dancer recently won the Express Eventing qualifier at The Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe.
