Adelaide comes to Burghley

Will another Kiwi claim the crown at the Australian International 3 Day Event in 2018?

Belinda Lindh, Event Director of the Mitsubishi Motors Australian International 3 Day Event, has just enjoyed her first ever visit to Stamford and the prestigious Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials

“It is incredible” says Belinda “The backdrop, the cross country course, the whole setting, the trade stands, it’s amazing. It’s really inspiring to come here, see how they do it and see what we can take away from here to do in Adelaide”

The backdrop may be very different in South Australia but it is equally iconic with the city of Adelaide hosting the Aus3DE and this year the full parklands course will be back in play including Stag Corner

There will also be a new entrance, new undercover Ringside Reserve Grandstand seating located at the southern end of the Main Arena and of course the VIP Marquee and Coopers Blush Bar down at the water complex on cross country will be THE place to be to watch the southern hemisphere’s eventing stars

Last year the event was won by visiting New Zealander Clarke Johnstone, who will hopefully be back to defend his title this year along with several other Kiwis keen to have a crack at Adelaide (and maybe in the future, riders from further afield ……)
