Shane Rose and Virgil – CCI5* winners

A few injuries couldn't stop Shane Rose from winning the CCI5* at the Adelaide Equestrian Festival, finishing on a score of 28.5, nearly 10 penalties ahead of second placed Sam Lyle riding BF Valour (38.0) and Sophia Hill on Humble Glory (40.9)

The pair started in fourth place after the dressage, had a great ride around cross country on Saturday adding just 0.4 time penalties and on the final day finished with a clear round, one of only two in the class.

Shenae Lowings and Bold Venture - CCI4*-S winners

Shenae Lowings and Bold Venture didn’t have the perfect preparation for the RM William CCI4*-S at the Adelaide Equestrian Festival, but you would never have known it, with the pair putting in top class performances in all three phases to take the win ahead of Andrew Cooper riding Sharvalley Thunder and Cathryn Herbert on Wimborne Constable

On the final day, Bold Venture jumped a flawless (and slightly less exuberant) round, adding 0.4 time penalties to win on a score of 34.7 and, to add to the CCI4*-S win, Shenae was also awarded the Anna Savage Memorial Medal and trophy - the ‘Best and Fairest Award’ of the Australian eventing community
