Boyd Martin will be making a visit to Australia in November to compete at the showcase Equestrian In The Park in Perth, Western Australia.

“I’m coming back to the homeland!” says Boyd, who was born in Queensland and started his eventing career in Australia before moving to the USA “I haven’t competed in Australia since 2006 and I’m looking forward to seeing a lot of my old friends out there”.

Boyd became the FEI Eventing World Number One in May 2025 for the first time in his career and now joins a list of illustrious international riders such as Sir Mark Todd, Harry Meade, William Fox-Pitt and Sam Griffiths who have competed at the one day showcase event in Perth. At the Grand Prix Eventing Showcase in Aiken at the start of the season Boyd finished on the podium in third place riding Commando 3; riding a loan horse however, he may have a battle on his hands in Perth as the local riders have often come up trumps in the two classes that offer big prizemoney.

Equestrian In The Park will be held at the new venue of Langley Park in Perth on Saturday November 8th and Boyd says he may be hosting some clinics prior to the event.
