Candlebark Horse Trials cross country videos
“We are expecting about 260 competitors so the parking will be cosy!” say organisers of the 2025 Grainger Legal Candlebark Horse Trials, held on the Clarke family property in Riddells Creek, near Melbourne, VIC.
The venue is also home of the Riddells Creek Pony Club and, in a nod to the grassroots of the sport where it all begins, Candlebark is hosting Under 25 sections across the classes this year. The classes include a CCN2*, CCN1*, EvA95, EvA80 and EvA65 plus a CCN2* Combined Training Section with additional prizes for Best Performed OTT across the classes and Best Performed Pony in the 95, 80 and 65 levels.
Mick Pineo and Will Foulkes are once again designing and building the cross country courses, with all cross country action taking place on Sunday 9th November while dressage and showjumping for most classes will be held on Saturday.
Spectators are welcome but no dogs are allowed so please leave the pooch at home!
