Eventing got back underway after a winter break in Western Australia and Victoria last weekend with the Friends of Werribee CCN at Werribee Park in Victoria and the Wooroloo International 3 Day Event near Perth in Western Australia.

While Sam was easing into the season in Victoria at a lower level, over in Western Australia another Adelaide placegetter was moving up. Numbers in the classes at Wooroloo may have been smaller but the results no less important for that, with Emily Gray winning the CCI4*-S on board Legal Chase and Sarah Dawson riding Imposing winning the CCI4*-L.
Emily and Legal Chase took second place in the CCI3*-L at Adelaide Equestrian Festival and the 11-year-old mare made her first step up to 4* here in fine style, winning the class and following up their win in the CCI3*-S here this time last year. Ones to watch for the future ….
