An Eventful Life filmed all competitors at Albury Wodonga Horse Trials CCN – order your cross country video here
While the EvA80 and EvA65 classes completed at the Albury Wodonga CCN Horse Trials on Saturday, it was the turn of the EvA95, CCN1* and CCN2* competitors to head out on cross country today.
It turned out to be ladies’ day at Albury, with three well-known competitors claiming top honours in the CCN classes. Victorian coach and past 5* rider Emily Anker won the Blacklocks Isuzu CCN2*-S riding Highfields Croatia on their dressage score of 30.2 ahead of Jessica Cowan riding Rough Road and Asha Warnock on board Notting Hill Gate.
Alex Townsend made the journey from another top eventing venue, Wallaby Hill in NSW, and she will be going home with a winner’s rug with Wallaby Hill inscribed on it! Alex and WHF Liquorice won the Wallaby Hill CCN1*-S Division A, also on their dressage score of 31.3 while Annabel (Bols) Cargill won the Affordable IVF Albury riding WS Hildegard on 31.0.
