The Tweed Equestrian Queensland 3 Day Event got underway on Thursday with the first horse inspection for the long format classes with Jess Somerfield taking the Best Dressed honours with her CCI2*-L horse Mythology of Freya. Jess then followed that up today, leading the CCI4*-S after dressage on board Finch Farm Carpentaria, taking second in the CCI2*-L on Mythology of Freya and fourth on board APH New Sensation in the CCI3*-S.
Another Finch Farm horse leads the way in the 3*-S with Aleisha Lorensen riding Finch Farm Chrysler, Georgia Bradford riding Sweet Couture leads the CCI3*-L, Kadi Eykamp leads the CCI2*-L on Bellhaven Chatterbox and the Cooper family have a stronghold on the CCI2*-S with Andrew Cooper holding first and second places riding Makers Mark and Cooley On Point and his wife Maddie in third on board Mandela.
