Olivia Barton and APH Sebastian lead the CI2*-L after cross country day at Quirindi

There was almost no change in the leaders on Saturday’s cross country across the board at Quirindi Eventing, apart from Hazel Shannon now leading four classes rather than three!
In the Boonoona Design CCI4*-S Hazel and Willingapark Clifford added 18.8 time penalties but was the only combination to jump around the course without jumping faults, to stay in the lead on 50.10
Even though Hazel had a steady run on cross country, adding 15.6 time penalties compared to second placed Sam Fasher and Angelina Gold’s fast 1.6 penalties in the Bundella Station CCN3*-S, she still maintains the top spot thanks to her huge lead in the dressage while the baby of the Willingapark trio, Willingapark Chilli added nothing to his dressage score in the Marsh Carney Saddlery CCN60-L Section A.
To top it all off, Hazel now also leads the CCN80-L Section B riding Hendrix, moving up from third with a clear cross country round!
Sam Fasher riding Sulitanos in the CCI3*-L, Deon Stokes riding Wimborne Confederate in the CCN1*-L and Olivia Barton riding APH Sebastian in the CCI2*-L all held their top rankings but Shenae Lowings had the jump of the day, moving from 11th into second place behind Olivia with a double clear cross country round on Holy Moses (obviously without any ‘Holy Moses’ moments!)
Jade Findlay riding Stoneylea Windsong still leads the CCN80-L Section B and Sienna Robinson riding GT Fredistar also still leads the CCN60-L Section B
