It was a soggy old day in Tamworth, NSW for the dressage and show jumping phases of the Double R CCI4* and OzShots CCI3* while the EvA95 and EvA80 classes braved the wet conditions on cross country

The CCN4* winner at Sydney Autumn Classic, Cathryn Herbert riding Wimborne Constable, led after the CCI4* dressage with a score of 26.8 but a rolled pole in the early evening show jumping dropped them to fourth place. Shane Rose riding Be My Daisy now leads the class (29.70) with Heath Ryan riding Bronze Boy R and Olivia Barton riding Henrik APH in third, with all three remaining on their dressage scores

In the CCI3*-S, it is New Zealand’s Maddy Seivwright riding Waitangi Pinterest that leads heading into tomorrow’s cross country on a score of 29.80, moving up from second place after dressage when Hazel Shannon riding Willingapark Chelsea dropped a rail in the show jumping, to currently sit in sixth place (32.80)

Carlene Barton leads the Gundy Park Equine CCI2*-S on board APH Sodoku and Stephanie Commens riding Cee Dee heads up the Britt Grovenor CCN1*. These classes show jump in the morning before cross country.

The EvA95 and EvA80 classes ventured out on cross country in the afternoon after a couple of fences were removed from wet areas and the sun finally came out after a wet start. Christine Bates’ experience shone through to currently lead the Moore Park Apartments EvA95A on board Bloomfield Findon, Sarah Clark (the NSW one, not the one heading to Badminton!) riding Blue Note SF leads the Phased Electrical EvA95B and Charlie Ward riding Davala Park Picolino leads the Roberts Mechanical EvA95J

Caleb Lock leads the Horseland Tamworth EvA80-O on board Dyrring Park Corileck, the Sandhills 80-R is led by Carey Doran riding Kanandah Park Socrates and Philippa Schoupp riding MJK Grand Romeo leads the Portable Horse Stables the EvA80-J after dressage and cross country

We’ll be back with a quick update tomorrow and full wrap up next week!
