Shenae Lowings and Bold Venture will be heading to the Adelaide Equestrian Festival as part of the Australian Senior Oceania teams, and she showed today why she is part of the ‘A’ team. Shenae and her off the track thoroughbred pulled off a score of 22.6 in the dressage for the Brittany Grovenor Photography CCI4*-S at Tamworth International - not quite a personal best but very close to it!
Oliver Barrett had two in the top four after dressage with his Sydney 4*-L winner Sandhills Briar in second place on 27.0 and Sandhills Gem in fourth (29.2) with Andrew Cooper riding Sharvalley Thunder slotting between on 28.5.
The showjumping took place on the big all-weather surface at AELEC in the early evening with the top four producing double clear rounds to remain on their dressage scores
Dressage and showjumping also took place for the 3* and 2* classes today with Katie Taliana riding Revelwoood Wynston Street leading the Manestream Media CCI3*-S and Carlene Barton riding her homebred Henrik APH leading the Sandhills CCI2*-S heading into Sunday's cross country
