March is jam packed with CCI events in Australia this year, with six 4* competitions taking place around the country and Tamworth International Eventing CCI rounding out the month for NSW competitors on 28th & 29th March 2026.
Entries are open for the first of two Tamworth Eventing competitions at the Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre (AELEC), and it will be a busy weekend for riders of all levels at the purpose-built venue.
3* and 4* combinations will have a chance to polish their performances before heading to Adelaide in April and there is also a CCI2*-S plus national CCN1*-S. Other national classes are also being held from EvA50 to EvA95 with Junior and Senior options plus ‘Rider’ classes for those who have not competed above EvA80cm and 65cm respectively in those classes in the last two years and not received an MER. So something for everyone!
Last year Andrew Cooper and Sharvalley Thunder scooped the CCI4* class while Shane Rose and The Bandit took second place, then went on to also take second place at The Bandit’s first CCI5* in Adelaide.
