Tamworth International Eventing CCN 2025 Postponed

Just as you think eventing in Australia is getting back to normal after a few years of ups and downs, here we go again.

Unfortunately, this weekend’s Tamworth International Eventing has been cancelled as Mother Nature plays her part again. This part of NSW just missed the worst of the year’s earlier cyclonic effects, that caused the cancellation of Tamborine CCI in March, but heavy rain forecast for this weekend has led to the cancellation of Tamworth’s CCN One Day Event this weekend (19th & 20th July 2025).

It has however already been re-scheduled with the new 20th & 21st September replacing Equestriad at Camden CCI, which sadly will not run this year.

The Organising Committee at Camden, one of the most popular and biggest venues that plays an important part on the Australian eventing calendar, says that “After much consideration, the Equestriad committee has made the difficult decision not to run our planned September FEI competition this year. With some key committee members stepping back from event organisation roles, we simply aren’t in a position to deliver the level of event we pride ourselves on”.

“The committee is hoping to regroup and focus on planning for national and FEI competitions in 2026, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to Camden in the future”.

We really hope so and look forward to being back at Tamworth and Camden very soon!
