North West Equestrian Expo One Day Event 2025 XC Videos
Coonabarabran in NSW may be known for its dark skies and links with astronomy but there were astronomical activities of a different last week as 500 young riders and their horses gathered to take part in the annual North West Equestrian Expo, the biggest interschool equestrian competition in Australia.
The One Day Event took place from Friday 30th May – Sunday 1st June at CCN1*, EvA95, EvA80 and EvA65 levels with last year’s An Eventful Life EvA95 winners Robin Henry and Rio De J stepping up to CCN1* level this year and winning the Boonoona Design CCN1*.
Ellie Whittaker and BP Spring Carnival won this year’s An Eventful Life EvA95 Section A, adding just four time faults on cross country to finish on 34.4 while Tommie Parker jumped double clear around cross country riding Rotherfield Bijou to win the March Carney EvA95B.
