Grainger Legal Candlebark Horse Trials cross country videos
It was a good ‘day’ at the office for the Darby family, who took three wins in the 2025 Grainger Legal Candlebark Horse Trials at Riddells Creek on Sunday 9th November.
Edward Darby, who started the year with a 3* win at Tonimbuk with Dawn of the Day and went to have a top ten finish in the CCI4* at Adelaide Equestrian Festival, took the CCN2* at Candlebark with another homebred horse, the eight-year-old Charismatic Day.
Not to be outdone, Edward’s sister Alice won the U25 Section of the Barclay Family CCN2* riding the 10-year-old Hermione Day while mum, Miranda Darby, who is responsible for breeding these lovely horses, won the Iconic Equestrian EvA95 riding Carnival Day.
While it wasn’t the best weather conditions, a good time was had by all, but especially the many winners across the classes that included:
