Equestrian Australia has announced that two riders, Brooke Dougall and Lamoza Velisha, have been selected to represent Australia at the inaugural FEI Eventing U25 World Championship, to be held from 22–26 July 2026 at Millstreet Green Glens Arena, Ireland.

Now based in Bonn, Germany, Brooke relocated to Europe in 2022 from Queensland, Australia to pursue a career in the equestrian industry with TS Showjumping. Since then, she has progressed to the role of Head Groom and has worked at some of the sport's most prestigious events, including the FEI World Championships, Asian Games, and the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

"I am incredibly proud and excited to represent Australia at Millstreet International Horse Trials this year and look forward to continuing our journey on the international stage," said Brooke, who will compete the 19-year-old bay gelding My Locky, bred by her mother.

Joining Brooke on the Australian team is 19-year-old Lamoza Velisha, who has just won her first two CCI4*-S starts at Ballarat and Melbourne International 3 Day Event in recent months, riding the 15-year-old gelding Call Me Cooley.

"I am incredibly excited and proud to have been selected to represent Australia at the FEI Eventing U25 World Championship at Millstreet” says Lamoza “I am grateful for the unwavering support of my family, coaches Karen Blythe and Yona Lloyd, my owners, supporters and the wider team who have helped me along the way”.

"I am looking forward to the opportunity to compete against some of the world's best young riders and proudly represent Australia on the international stage."
