Carys McCrory, one of New Zealand’s top young eventing riders, is on the road to recovery after a serious fall at Aston-Le Walls last week.
Carys, who was selected to ride as an individual for New Zealand at the FEI Under 25 Eventing World Championship in Millstreet later this month, was competing her top horse Nemesis in the CCI3*-S at Aston Le Walls when the incident occurred.

Carys moved to the UK to base with Pippa Funnell a few weeks ago after a very successful start to the season that included a win in the CCI4*-L at Christchurch and a top 10 finish in the CCI4*-S at Adelaide Equestrian Festival.
