Equestrian Australia High Performance has announced the four horses and riders selected to represent Australia in the team competition at CHIO Aachen in Germany as;
Sammi Birch and Finduss FPB
Andrew Cooper and Sharvalley Thunder
Kevin McNab and Faro IMP
Shane Rose and Easy Turn
Australian-based Andrew Cooper and Shane Rose will compete at Luhmuhlen in Germany three weeks’ prior while UK-based Sammi Birch and Kevin McNab have recently had good runs at Badminton CCI5* and Strzegom CCI4*-L respectively.
The CCIO4*-S eventing competition at the World Equestrian Festival, Aachen (27 June - 6 July 2025) takes place on Friday 4th July (dressage and showjumping) with cross country the final phase on Saturday 5th is one of the most hotly contested competitions on the FEI calendar. But this year it holds a particular attraction as the 2026 World Eventing Championships will be held at Aachen and gives the participating nations a good chance to prepare for next year.
