Shinaye Cowan's eventing lamb

      Shinaye and her little lamb

When you see a lamb happily wandering around the Rider’s Retreat area at Sydney International Equestrian Centre during an eventing competition you have to wonder what the story is.

It was immediately evident that this was no ordinary lamb; for a start it was wearing a diamante collar and seemed in possession of the sort of cool attitude that only self-assured lambs have i.e. this was not a lamb worried about what people were going to be eating for dinner

On the other hand, this was not a lonely lamb either as she had a very good friend nearby who she was following (as lambs do). Her surrogate mum, eventing rider and vet nurse Shinaye Cowan, explained how she has ended up with her eventing lamb and we also found out more about Shinaye’s return to eventing after breaking her back in a riding accident

Keep an eye for Shinaye and her lamb at future as “Until she gets too big to fit in my car, she’ll be coming with me”
