Andrew Cooper, previously named as a Non-Travelling Senior Team Reserve Combination, will now replace Gemma Tinney on Australia's Senior Eventing Team for the Oceania Eventing Championships at the New Zealand Horse of the Year in Hastings from 9th – 12th March
Gemma Tinney has withdrawn her horse Diabolo from selection and will be replaced on the Senior team by Queensland-based Andrew Cooper who will ride the eight-year-old gelding Pepper Jack
Andrew joins Cathryn Herbert (Wimborne Constable), Shenae Lowings (Bold Venture) and Kenya Wilson (Sandros Salute MW) on the Senior Team announced in January and the Young Rider team remains unchanged (see below)

Australia will send one Senior and one Young Rider team to the 2023 Oceania Championships to be held at Horse of the Year, New Zealand in March
Equestrian Australia (EA) has announced the combinations that will make up the two teams to compete against New Zealand from 9th – 12th March (see below)

Gemma Tinney and Kenya Wilson performed strongly at the 2022 Oceania Championships at Melbourne International 3 Day Event, with both finishing in the top six individually, while Shenae Lowings was part of the Australian squad at the 2022 World Championships at Pratoni Del Vivaro.
Cathryn Herbert and her stallion Wimborne Constable were winners of the CCI4*-S at the Bowral Kubota Festival of Eventing at Wallaby Hill in December
This will be their first appearance on an Australian squad for the majority of the Young Riders selected in 2023
