Eventing competitions have been very quiet for us over the past month, however we still seem to get a lot of horse riding done, clinics and coaching. As well as regular lessons Stuart and Karen taught throughout the school holidays locally and Interstate. Stuart has also been working on course building for the Sydney event at SIEC.

On July 23rd Stuart was honoured by his induction into the NSW Hall of Champions. The ceremony took place at Sydney Olympic Park. Alongside Stuart were three other sporting legends, Sophie Muir (inline speed skating) Nathan Smith (Ironman) and Rebecca Gilmore (diving). The awards all presented by The Hon. Graham Annesley MP, Minister for Sport and Recreation. We would like to thank our peak body, ENSW for their nomination and recognition of Stuart for his sporting achievements.

The NSW Hall of Champions is a sports museum and hall of fame which pays tribute to the States greatest sporting successes. Every year a number of athletes who have achieved at the highest level of their sport are inducted. Sporting legends such as Don Bradman, Dawn Fraser, Shane Gould and Dally Messenger are included in this prestigious list.
Gemma and King
Gemma took the limelight (again!) with her fabulous effort at the Pony Club State Show jumping Championships in Bathurst NSW (a very chilly place!) winning overall CHAMPION in her age group (15-17yrs) A grade. With all the rounds at maximum height Gemma and her ride ‘King’ placed highly in all classes. We had a great group with Zone 23 and all our riders went so well, making us also the zone Champions- Gemma was overwhelmed at all the prizes, ribbons and cups she won and thanked all the prize givers.

What’s coming up and what’s ‘HOT’ at TE
· SUNDAY 4th AUG Stuart will hold a Cross Country Clinic at the fabulous WALLABY HILL, just email us if you would like to attend.
· AUGUST, Stuart will attend an FEI International Course Builders course in Hartpury UK.
· All our horses are fuelled with CopRice Feeds- (King being an older horse is on NutriRice Veteran, and it is obviously working well for him)
