Good news and bad

Ninja and I just finished our show jumping for the 3 star at Luhmuhlen. The good news is that we performed much better in Prue Barrett and Gilbert Bockmann's (Australian show jumping coach) opinion. The bad news is that we had 3 rails down. It is confidence to move from defensive thoroughbred racehorse behaviour to assured, aware and technically good jumping. On that score he moved well forward today.

Going to Gilbert's is also a great thing leading up to Aachen. There will be plenty of chances for us to practise courses in different environments.

The jumping along with the dressage exercises should bring a better outcome.

I just want to thank the support staff from the Australian team as well as those who have been positive and helpful. From the grooms and officials to the riders from all over the world who have been positive and appreciative of what we are trying to do. A special thanks to Lucinda Fredericks who let Ninja and myself come along to Germany in her truck whilst making a bit of a comeback from injury and circumstance in recent times.

Tomorrow a transport will take me to Gilly's and we will start a new chapter.
