May 2013
Following our bumper, but sad month of April, May has started relatively quiet- apart from the news that Stuart and Pluto won the Sydney CCI*** taking out individual honors for the Australian team in the Trans Tasman Challenge late April. The highs and lows of our sport are unconditional. Within two weeks Stuart wins two major events in a row, but loses his equine soul mate ‘Jeepster’.

Cara (above) with Pluto after his run across country-recovering in his HIDEZ suit. Please note that Pluto has his tongue out yet again! What a trait, he just knows when the camera is on him. Maybe he’s saying ‘Where’s my beer Cara?’
We must thank John and Jane Pittard for giving us such great pleasure with their two horses Pluto Mio and Annapurna - what a great duo! It was indeed a great weekend for the Pittards with their two race horses also turning in great results- Mybenz winning at Flemington and Yosei 3rd in a group 1 race

Onwards and hopefully upwards and we have a rather large group of horses off to Equestriad this weekend, which will keep our groom Cara VERY busy. I’m not sure how we will all handle the seven horses (which includes Jaymee and Gemma horses). Straight after Equestraid we have the Coonabarabran Expo for a week with Gemma and her school Northholm Grammar. This year it is expected that over 700 horses will attend (550+ school riders) what a job for the organisers but they do the most amazing job and it is always great fun not to mention a total horse bonanza! Many thanks to CopRice for sponsoring the eventing and combined training classes.
This month’s ‘LIKES’ from the Tinney Camp:
Karen ‘likes’ The Dublin Renegade boot from Horseland.
Stuart ‘likes’ The Bates Isabelle saddle with ergonomic stirrup bar.
Jaymee ‘likes’ that she is back riding again after HSC!
Gemma ‘likes’ The Dublin 3 in 1 long sleeve show shirt.
Pluto ‘likes’ HIDEZ

Recently Gemma and the wonderful King took out sixth place overall at the State Equitation Championships at Mudgee NSW while her zone (23) take out winning zone. Well done to all the other riders from Zone 23.
