The FEI World Equestrian Games, created in 1990 are held every four years and are by far the largest equestrian event. In 2014, the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2014 in Normandy will be host to 8 World Championships, one of which is Endurance
The endurance event is timed on a predetermined itinerary of 160 km with veterinary checks before, during and after the test. The rider needs to be able to manage his/her horse’s energy so that it can run the distance as fast as possible whilst ensuring the horse remains in perfect physical condition.
Competition date; Thursday 28th August
Location; The bay of Mont-Saint-Michel (Manche) will provide a magnificent backdrop for the 160 km of Endurance tests that will meander around the site.
