We can’t wait to check out the new cross country course next month at Haras le Pin, the eventing venue of the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games

Le Pin National Stud’s new cross country course, which was designed and created to host the cross country phase of the eventing competition was unveiled on Friday 19th July. A variety of works and alterations have been undertaken including a sprinkler system, four fords being modified or built, and a variety of natural obstacles.

A total of almost a million Euros has been spent on the cross country course but there are other improvements to come. During 2013-2014, a new dressage arena will be built at the foot of the château, a grass schooling arena will be restored, the future horsebox and lorry park will be levelled, an area for veterinary checks will be created, and the tracks leading to the course will be reconditioned.

We’ll be seeing how it all looks in just a few weeks time when we head to Normandy for the WEG test events and our 4* members will be able to see all of the preparations for the 2014 Championships
