Baby girl for William and Alice

Riding high - William and Alice's two sons now have a baby sister

Despite Hamish Cargill’s hopes that we may end up with an Australian Fox-Pitt (read Hamish’s article Fantastic Mr Fox) Alice Plunkett, wife of William Fox-Pitt and well known British TV racing commentator, gave birth to a baby girl yesterday in England yesterday.

Alice says on Twitter “William and I had a very gorgeous little girl yesterday at 11am”

Weighing in at 9lbs 1oz, all are reported to be doing okay.

It seems that William and Alice are not only very organised in their working life but also marvellous planners for baby arrivals too! With the final event of the Northern Hemisphere season, Les Etoiles de Pau, having just finished on Sunday (where William finished in fourth and fifth place), he now has a bit of time to spend with the new arrival before joining us for the Australian International 3 Day Event.

We send our best wishes and congratulations to the Fox-Pitt family.
