This year his points total was helped by Izzy Taylor’s eighth place at the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials on the 13 year old mare Allercombe Ellie

In second place on 1,105 points is the Irish bred Master Imp, the Imperius sired Thoroughbred, the sire of Mrs Elizabeth Murdoch’s 12 year old gelding Improvise, among others, who secured a top ten finish at the Fontainebleau CICO3* and 13th place at Luhmuhlen CCI4* with Australia’s Bill Levett.

Completing the top three is another Irish stallion Ghareeb on 1,046 points.
