ESMA Finalist 2013

We’re delighted to be a finalist in the Page Play Equestrian Social Media Awards 2013 in the Regional Category for Australia and New Zealand. It’s really exciting that this region has a category of its own this year and shows what a vibrant online equestrian community we have in this part of the world! Congratulations to all of the finalists in all categories but we’d like to make special mention of the lovely Libby Law, one of our main contributors, who is also a finalist in her own right in the Creative Equestrians Category (Category 20).

For those of you unfamiliar with the ESMAs (the equestrian online media version of the Oscars), nominations for the 2013 ESMAs opened for 12 days in the run up to Christmas and the public submitted 10,016 nominations from over 90 countries.

The 10 finalists in each category were selected from over 2,000 nominees. Selections were based on the number of unique supporting statements, engagement criteria and good online etiquette displayed.

The final voting stage is now open. The results are to be based 75% on scores from the Expert Panel and 25% on votes from the public. The panel is a hand-picked group of equestrian marketers, digital professionals, social media gurus and photographers from across the globe.

As a finalist in a Regional Category we also have a chance of qualifying for another award as the winner in each of the regional categories will become candidates to win the overall World Award, judged by the FEI’s Director of Corporate Communications, Richard Johnson.

Voting closes at midday (GMT) on 8 February and we would really appreciate if you would vote for us again (or for the first time!). All you have to do is click on the logo below, go to Category 33 and vote for An Eventful Life (we’re right at the top!)

In the meantime, we’ll get cracking on our Finalist Video! Thanks for your support
