Further to the restructuring process announced in February this year, the FEI is moving ahead with the next phase of changes within the Sports Departments.
As part of this process, Eventing will be integrated with Driving to create a single department, under the leadership of one Director.
This new structure will come into effect on 1 January 2026, following the retirement of the current Director, Driving, Para Driving & Special Projects, Manuel Bandeira de Mello.
The position of FEI Director of Eventing & Driving was offered to Frédérique Reffet-Plantier, the current FEI Director Eventing, who has decided not to take up the role. She will remain in her current position until November 2025, when she will conclude her time at the FEI.

The recruitment process to appoint the future FEI Director of Eventing & Driving will be launched shortly.
