Britain’s Harry Meade remains on top of the FEI Eventing World Rankings at the end of the European season and is likely to start next season as the World Number One.

While Harry remains on a tally of 588, there was some shuffling in the top 10 during the busy of month of October with both Boyd Martin (USA) and Tim Price (NZL) making moves towards the Number One spot.

Boyd is now in the number two spot (537 points) thanks to two CCI5* podium finishes in October at Maryland at Fair Hill and Les 5 Etoiles de Pau plus a win in the CCI4*-L at Morven Park. Boyd replaces Ros Canter who has moved down to fifth, having not competed since winning Burghley in early September.

Laura Collett remains in third place (469), having gained some points in October with sixth place at Boekelo, and Tim Price moves up from sixth to fourth (455) with a win and fourth place at Les 5 Etoiles de Pau adding to his point score.

Britain’s Tom McEwen has swopped places with Tim, moving from fourth to sixth (427) and Samantha Lissington (NZL) remains in the top 10, in seventh place after two good results at Strzegom CCI4*-L. Lara de Liedekerke-Meier has had a phenomenal season and finishes the year in ninth place (380) with wins at Boekelo CCIO4*-L and first and second places at Le Mondial du Lion moving her into the top 10. Olympic champion Michael Jung rounds out the top 10 on 374 points.

Shane Rose remains the top ranked Australian rider, in 22nd place (270) and he is joined in the top 50 by Kevin McNab, moving from 63rd up to 45th (207). While the European season has now finished, Australian based combinations still have an opportunity to pick up valuable points at the Sydney International 3 Day Event at the end of November.

New Zealand’s Jonelle Price and Monica Spencer also both moved up with Jonelle now in 16th place and Monica in 23rd after good results at Pau and Maryland respectively.
