The FEI European Eventing Junior Championship in Strzegom, Poland, continued with the cross-country phase yesterday with no changes to the top of the leaderboard.

In fact the top 15 riders managed the course set by Ronald Alexander with no jump or time penalties leaving the top individual rider positions as:

1. Pebbly Aga Khan Sophie HOW (GBR*) 35,00

2. Shadow Light Tori DIXON (IRL*) 42,50

2. Mr Hiho Emily KING (GBR) 42,50

4. Chuckelberry Harold MEGAHEY (IRL*) 43,10

5. Printinus Christoph WAHLER (GER*) 43,30

6. Kilminchy Condor Lucca STUBINGTON (IRL*) 44,00

The team results after the cross country also remain the same with the British team comprising of Sophie How and Pebbly Aga Khan, Alfie Bradstock and Minimee, Isabella Innes Ker riding Carolyn and Alexandra Liddle on Romeo Z in the lead on a score of 127.10.

The Irish team is in second place on 129.60 and Germany in third place on 141.20 penalty points.

Here is Alfie Bradstock of the British team talking after his dressage test about his thoughts on the cross country and his career (so far!) as an eventer. Wonder if this will be a name we become very familiar with in future years?
