Opportunity with Kevin McNab

Leading Australian event rider Kevin McNab is seeking new horses and owners to join the McNab Eventing Team.

Born into a non-horsey farming family in Queensland, Kevin asked for his first pony at the age of two and was inseparable from his horses from that point on. Like many top Australian eventing riders, Kevin came up through the Pony Club system and turned his hand to every discipline before focussing on eventing as a career

After school Kevin based himself with Australian Olympian Heath Ryan before setting up his own business Kelecyn Equestrian Services back in Queensland. Where he produced and competed event horses. Many top horses that were produced at Kelecyn went on to great things with other riders while Kevin focussed on producing horses and training students

In 2012 Kevin and his now wife Emma moved to the UK and they have since had a number of wins across Europe. Now based at Coneycroft Farm in Surrey, Kevin’s longstanding association with Brookfield Equestrian recently came to an end giving him the opportunity and the time to ride a new team of horses at 3 and 4 Star level.

Said Kevin: "I will always be grateful to Brookfield, who helped me when I moved to the UK and we have had many international wins together.

“However, after five highly successful years, it is time to move on with the aim of developing my Tokyo team.”

With many successes for Kevin at all levels over the last few years, his wife Emma has also seen recent form with a great win at Tattersalls’ International Horse Trials on the talented Fernhill Tabasco.

“After so many years I feel we have a proven system for producing world class horses and an ideal location in Surrey with all the facilities needed to continue at the highest level of the sport” says Kevin “I am now seeking to add quality horses that will be competitive at championship level.”
