A role model for Shane Rose

From the left: India Gready,Sally Groat, Rebecca Groat and Paige Gready (hope we got that right)
   with their autographed hats!

At Albury we caught up with two pairs of sisters from the Gready and Groat families who were happily clutching their hats, which had been signed by many top event riders. While Paige and India Gready had been riding at Albury, Sally and Rebecca Groat had been at the event as enthusiastic spectators although they were looking forward to coming back to Albury in the Easter holidays to take part in the Eventing NSW Junior Development Clinic.

We tried to find out more about the girls in this interview below, although we did discover that talking to four girls at once wasn’t an easy job!

India's horse Rambler, otherwise known as Red Bluff Country Rambler, decided not to get his feet wet at Albury

However Paige's pony, Sanlirra Honeypot, had a little look at the water and then decided to be brave  ...

trotted through with a huge stride ...

and headed off towards the finish!
